I write about nature and nurture, the elemental world and how it influences us, how we influence it. Poetry suffuses my voice; prose elevates it. Between the two, some dreams open up, and there is time to think through the paradoxes. Manzanita in summer is good to watch, just then. I recommend it. Cold ground in winter also instructs me, as do the salmon swimming constantly against the current, in favor of offering new life.
