Yeah, they still gave ordinary writers with cell phones and live Internet connections access to the real-time exit poll data that year! Put a stop to that after 2004, however. Too many people noticed the drastic descrepancies between the exit poll data and the results passed back by the unaudited (and not-exactly-tamper-proof) new electronic voting machines! Fancy that.
